Dr. Mehbub Alam earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Guwahati, India. During his PhD, his focus was on time-sensitive computation offloading, mobility-aware computation offloading, reconfigurable edge computing, and verifiable edge computing. He also worked as a Junior Research Fellow on the "Design Innovation Centre" project, funded by the Government of India, at IIIT Guwahati. He completed his B. Tech and M. Tech degrees from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong, in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Additionally, Dr. Alam has served as an Information Technology Faculty member at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Shillong, INDIA.
Currently, he is working on secure communication for UAVs. His research interests include the Internet of Things, the Internet of Drones, computation offloading in fog/edge computing, and network security.
