DESCRIPTION:The discussion of Islam and evolution sparks interest for many Muslims. However\, the conversation can get very polarizing. This talk attempts to bring the nuances that are usually amiss from the conversation so that people can get a holistic and deeper perspective on the topic. We will briefly cover the basic principles of evolution alongside its misconceptions. This will then be concluded with a review of the spectrum of opinions that exist in the current literature. \n
