SUMMARY:VIRTUAL UNDERGRADUATE FALL 2020 ORIENTATION
DESCRIPTION:Khalifa University will offer a virtual orientation program for the new Undergraduate students and their parents. The aim of the orientation program is to ensure that new national and international students have a smooth and positive onboarding and transition to KU Community\, academically and socially. The virtual orientation experience will combine some live/and prerecorded orientation program sessions that target both new students and their parents. \nThe program will include virtual registration and account activations\, welcoming speeches by KU Management and informational interactive sessions by academic and services departments besides virtual tours for the campus and the residences. The new joiners will be able to engage with KU Staff and existing senior students “mentors” who will assist them during their transition. New students and their parents will have access to some important documents such as FAQ for available services and resources\, Student Guidebook and Parent Guidebook. \nFurther and daily updated information about the Orientation program will be provided through a dedicated landing page on the KU website. \nThe Office of Student Services will be ready to support and guide new students as well as answer any inquiries.
