Overview

Launched in 2019 by Khalifa University in partnership with the National Service and Reserve Authority (NSRA), the Al Nokhba Program is a specialized research and training platform that aims to empower national service recruits through exposure to advanced academic content and hands-on R&D experience.

  • Prepare recruits for postgraduate study through advanced academic preparation.
  • Enhance the technical skills of Emirati engineers in high-demand fields.
  • Involve recruits in innovative research with opportunities for publication.

Participant Criteria

  • National service recruits (nominated through NSRA)
  • Academic background in science or engineering
  • GPA 3.0 or above
  • Bachelor’s degree and above from a top 300 university
  • Interview and endorsement required
