Dr. Chin Kui Cheng is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi. He received his Ph.D. degree from The University of New South Wales, Sydney Australia in 2011, specializing in the area of syngas production from steam reforming. Dr. Cheng is also a Chartered Engineer of IChemE (UK).
Dr. Cheng was previously a visiting scholar to the Sheffield Hallam University in the UK in 2017, King Mongkut鈥檚 University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB) in 2018, and also a visiting professor to the Prince of Songkla University in Thailand (2019).
His research areas encompass syngas production, renewable energy from biomass, wastewater treatment, photocatalysis, etc. His scientific opinion is constantly sought by various journal editors as indicated by his active involvement in more than 130 reputable journals as their trusted reviewer. In addition, he is also serving either as an associate editor or as an editorial board member for several top-notch journals that specialize in renewable energy, environmental science, and nanomaterial.
