To encourage student involvement, KU 6GRC has hosted internal hackathons and project showcases. During the 6G Summit and other events, students affiliated with the center present posters on their 6G research projects. Such events provide recognition and networking opportunities for students, and highlight the educational impact of the center. Moreover, the center鈥檚 faculty have been involved in global 6G competitions (for example, ITU鈥檚 AI/ML in 5G Challenge, etc.), sometimes mentoring student teams.
