Dr. Hamed Gamaleldien earned his Ph.D. from Curtin University, Australia, where he also completed a three-year postdoctoral fellowship. He specializes in utilizing advanced geochemical techniques to investigate mantle- and crust-derived rocks at global, regional, and micro- to nano-scales. His groundbreaking research provides new insights into Earth's dynamic evolution over its four-billion-year history, including the evolution of the mantle, paleohydrosphere, and early continental crust, as well as the onset of plate tectonics and the superplume-supercontinent cycles. Dr. Hamed’s work enhances our understanding of Earth’s complex systems and contributes valuable knowledge to the study of critical metal formation.
Are you passionate about unraveling the mysteries of Earth and advancing our understanding of its evolution? Join us in one of these cutting-edge PhD projects that explore the intersection of geology, geochemistry, and critical metals:
1- Linking Ophiolitic Mélange and Subduction Zones with Critical Metal Deposits
2- HydroCarb: Fingerprinting Cu–Co–PGE in Hydrated–Carbonated Ultramafics
3- The Mantle Gold Cycle in the Semail Ophiolite (UAE): Mineralogical, Geochemical, and Isotopic Investigations
4-Isotopic Constraints on the Formation, Nature, and Geodynamics of Archean Crustal Evolution
