I obtained my Ph.D. in chemistry from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), India. I subsequently worked at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where my research focused on the development of functional nanomaterials, photocatalysis, and piezoelectric nanogenerators. Since June 2023, I have been working as a research scientist at Khalifa University, where I am currently involved in membrane-based technologies for water treatment and energy applications.
My research expertise spans the synthesis and functionalization of nanomaterials, smart and responsive membranes, and their application in photoelectrochemical (PEC) water splitting, energy harvesting, and environmental remediation. I have published 48 peer-reviewed articles in internationally reputed journals.
2D enabled functional membranes for water treatment and desalination.
