Dr. Pinky Sagar is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics at Khalifa University of Science and Technology, Abu Dhabi. Prior to this, she worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Physics at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. She has also served as a TFB Fellow at the Department of Physics, MMV, Banaras Hindu University.
Dr. Sagar obtained her Ph.D. in Physics from the Department of Physics, Banaras Hindu University, in 2023. Her research focuses on the development of advanced functional nanomaterials for applications in energy, sensing, and biomedical technologies. Her work primarily involves the design and synthesis of nanostructured materials, including two-dimensional materials and hybrid nanocomposites, for high-performance electrochemical and biosensing platforms.
In addition to her work in nanomaterials, she has research experience in superconducting materials, contributing to a broader understanding of advanced functional systems. She has authored several research articles and review papers published in reputed international journals.
Her research aims to bridge fundamental materials science with practical applications, particularly in areas such as environmental monitoring, healthcare diagnostics, and sustainable technologies.
