Biography

Mr. Rami is a seasoned Senior lecturer with a remarkable career spanning over 27 years in both academia and industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Industrial Automation Engineering from prestigious institutions in Jordan, providing him with a strong academic foundation for his expertise in engineering and applied sciences.

Rami’s academic career includes teaching positions at esteemed universities in Jordan and United Arab Emirates, where he has delivered a broad range of theoretical and practical courses. His teaching portfolio encompasses C, Python, and MATLAB programming, engineering drawing and solid modeling, manufacturing and material testing, measurements, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.

Currently, he teaches the Grand Challenges 101 course and serves as the course coordinator at Khalifa University. His role involves not only delivering high-quality instruction but also overseeing the course’s overall structure and administration. This course addresses critical global issues and aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge to tackle complex, real-world problems through innovative solutions.

Before embarking on his academic journey, he gained invaluable industry experience, spending five years in the fields of engineering and reverse engineering. This real-world experience significantly enriches his teaching, offering students practical insights alongside theoretical knowledge.

Throughout his career, he has been involved in curriculum development, contributing to the design of degree programs at educational institutions. His commitment extends to participation in departmental, college, and university committees, as well as community engagement.

Rami’s dedication to education and his industry background make him a valued member of the academic community, committed to advancing both his students' learning experiences and the field of engineering education.
