Khalifa University of Science and Technology offers the following scholarships to support qualified UAE national and international students enrolled in undergraduate programs on a full-time basis. The University reserves the right to make changes to the published scholarship benefits and conditions without prior notice.

The scholarship supports UAE National and International students pursuing a Bachelor鈥檚 degree at Khalifa University. Scholarship eligibility is assessed as part of the admission process and applicants are not required to submit a separate scholarship application. The number of available scholarship slots is limited. International students are evaluated and mapped to a specific scholarship Tier on the basis of academic merit and other relevant factors, in line with Khalifa University鈥檚 strategic priorities, rules and regulations. Meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a scholarship award.

Scholarship for UAE National and Children of Emirati Mothers
  • Full coverage of tuition fees.
  • Free University accommodation for eligible students.
  • Free weekly transportation for eligible students.

Scholarships for International Students

Tier I

  • Full coverage of tuition fees.
  • Textbooks provided by the University.

Tier II

  • Partial waiver of 50% or 75% of聽tuition fees.
  • Textbooks provided by the University.

Tier III

  • Textbooks provided by the University.

Active Student Scholorship

Students on Tier III scholarship, when initially admitted to Khalifa University, will receive an award of up to 30% remission in tuition fees if they achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.8 following the completion of at least 12 credit hours.

ADNOC SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The ADNOC Scholarship Program is a prestigious accolade granted to a select聽number of talented individuals, following a competitive application process.

Established in 1974, ADNOC continues to nurture the next generation of UAE nationals by investing in their higher education.

This fund was developed to empower high potential UAE nationals with training across various technical disciplines. These subjects are chosen in line with the vision for advancement of the industrial and economic objectives of ADNOC and the UAE.聽

What We Look For

The application and interview process are designed to identify the most brilliant UAE National talent, whose work ethic and core values are in line with those of ADNOC.聽

Prospective scholars should have already received a conditional letter of acceptance from , for one of the following majors:

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Petroleum Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Geosciences

Candidates will also be requested聽to undertake a medical assessment to assess suitability for their chosen discipline

You will also need to confirm that you have no obligations which may conflict with your studies. For those who are eligible for national service, this should include the ability to provide a military service release letter.

Undergraduate Program Requirements

  • Has attended a school recognized in terms of academic excellence by the Ministry of Education (MoE); Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) or Knowledge & Human Development Authority (KHDA) High school certificate, or equivalent
  • Minimum achievement of 85% in each science and math subject
  • Average final high school examinations results of 85% or above to pursue scholarship for domestic studies (within the UAE)
  • Average final examinations results of 90% or above if you intend to study overseas
  • TOEFL (or equivalent) score of 80 and above / IELTS 6.0 and above / EMSAT – English 1400 and above, Math 1250 and above and Physics 800 and above (for Domestic study only)
